VIRUSES LIVING
ON SURFACES

Influenza A and B viruses can persist on surfaces for hours to days depending on a variety of human and environmental factors. MRSA (also referred to as Staph) can live on surfaces for days, weeks, and months.

WHY SaniSquares

CONSUMER USE

SaniSquares are the result of personal experiences that business travelers shared while traveling throughout the world. Many of these travelers would bring a comfortable change of clothes for the long travel day home after their work meetings.

Unfortunately, the only place to change their clothes were airport restrooms. Not being the most ideal - clean place to change, many business travelers found themselves not changing at all. Some decided to change their clothes and stand on their shoes to help protect their feet from germs on the floor. Unfortunately, they still were not getting full sanitary protection from the floor and this process was not safe.

So, we designed a product that would allow travelers to do just that: change clothes cleanly and safely.

However, we found that airports were not the only place this product was needed. People who commonly change in public places, such as dressing rooms and public gyms, requested a product for them. People going to sporting events right after work would tend to change in their office building public restrooms.

This design ultimately carried over to requests from Moms wanting a product to protect their little ones while changing them on baby changing stations. So we designed SaniSquares to also be safe for kids and infants.

Beyond the uses for changing clothes, we also designed smaller squares that can be used as headrest barriers on airplanes / theaters or wherever a barrier is needed.

PROFESSIONAL USE

Healthcare: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) has been prevalent in hospital settings for years.

According to the CDC an estimated 10,800 deaths in the U.S. each year are caused by staph, 5,500 of which are linked to MRSA. Influenza A and B viruses can persist on surfaces for hours to days depending on a variety of human and environmental factors. MRSA can live on surfaces for days, weeks, and months.

The large squares allow patients to change into hospital gowns cleanly and safely, with no worries of their feet coming into contact with viruses that can live on the floor.

These squares are made of a polypropylene soft material which doesn’t allow fluids to seep through the material.

The majority of staph and MRSA infections occur in hospitals or other health care settings, among patients with weakened immune systems.

However, it is becoming more common in the community.

Hotel/Hospitality: The large squares are used as disposable bath mats for hotel bathrooms. The patent pending non-slip technology gives your hotel guests a no-worry, never-been-used bath mat and cuts down on storage space. The large squares keep your guests feet dry and clean. The large squares can be purchased in bulk and can be private labeled for your hotel.
